Set inside one of Savannah’s oldest 19th-century buildings, The Drayton pairs a carefully restored exterior with interiors reimagined in bright color and whimsy. Fifty rooms and suites, a cocktail lounge, a communal living room and coffee bar, a rooftop with unmatched riverfront views, and a Southern-leaning seafood brasserie, all under one roof.
After opening in 2019 and a rocky start through COVID shutdowns, the property was leaning heavily on OTA bookings and the ancillary food & beverage outlets lacked identities of their own. The Drayton partnered with Pixel & Polish to grow occupancy and ADR, lift revenue per occupied room, shift share from OTAs to direct bookings, differentiate the F&B outlets, and build awareness locally and in key US feeder markets.
We audited the full marketing footprint, wrote an omnichannel plan, and stood up the supporting tech. Then we launched two new outlet brands, produced a year of photo and video, rebuilt the website for SEO and conversion, cleaned up online listings, and ran integrated campaigns across paid, organic social, email, and merchandising.
Two outlets. Two new brands within the hotel. One rooftop and one lounge worth a trip of their own.
To earn a place in the local scene, the rooftop bar and cocktail lounge needed identities that could stand on their own, connected to the hotel, but not dependent on it. We dug into what Savannah already had (and what it was missing), then built Pendant Penthouse and The Vinyl Room from naming through visual system. Programming, activations, and experiential packages were designed alongside the marks so each brand had a reason to visit in every season.

PENDANT PENTHOUSE · ROOFTOPA website that finally sold the room, the bar, and the view.
Partnering with Cendyn for development and CMS, we led the revamp and replatform: architecting the sitemap, writing every word of the initial content, and building a homepage video experience that pushed engagement and conversion up sharply. We’ve stayed on to manage SEO and content additions against ongoing marketing insights.

We built a paid media program across search, display, video, Performance Max, social, and metasearch for direct bookings, with Expedia TravelAds filling weekday softness. The result: a blended 12:1 ROAS, well above industry engagement, and an 8.33% cost of sale on direct bookings versus the 18–20% commissions charged on OTA reservations.
