    Overview

Originally built in the 1960s as Galveston’s Treasure Isle Motel, this low-slung two-story property was always meant to be a cozy oasis for guests from far and wide. Sixty years later, Hotel Lucine has breathed brand new life back into every square inch — 61 rooms at the edge of the Gulf with a pool and courtyard, rooftop bar, den, and signature restaurant.

    The Ask

In a market full of big-brand hotels, Hotel Lucine offers something decidedly different — and needed a marketing program to match. Pixel & Polish partnered with the team to launch the property, manage its online presence, build awareness, drive room, restaurant, and ancillary revenue, and achieve a channel mix heavily weighted toward direct business over third parties.

    The Approach

We crafted a detailed omnichannel plan, implemented supporting technology, oversaw the website project and produced all content, and executed multi-channel campaigns for both the hotel and F&B — spanning organic social, email, paid advertising, website content, and online merchandising, with SEO and conversion optimization on an ongoing basis.

    Content + SEO

We oversaw the website project and wrote every word — a warm, wry voice that gives each venue its own personality and points guests toward booking, dining, and events. SEO and conversion optimization continue on an ongoing basis.
